Mantra & Mudra
week 1. #Hakinimudra to kick off #mantrasandmudras Last week with @linzmeagher @sparklytornado and @vegiechick . AND It was our first full moon of the year. The first mudra was the gesture of the goddess Hakini, symbolizing integration. It activates all elements, balances all doshas all chakras, promotes cooperation between L&R brain hemispheres, and improves and deepens respiration. Our mantra for January is Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu- May All Beings Be Happy. This mudra pairs with the first word, Loka: all realms, worlds, universes. Each week we will add a mudra to represent a word of the mantra and have an OMazing little piece of choreography at the end. Maybe a little performance video…
week 2. "With all five elements balanced completely, I experience perfect harmony." Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu. May All Beings Be Happy.#mantrasandmudras #teaparty @hOMe today with @sparklytornado #dharmapravartanamudra for#samasta (all beings.) The gesture of setting dharma in motion and for balancing all 5 elements. This mudra opens the breath in the froth of the body, releasing muscular tension from the chest and sternum. It creates the ideal balance between rest and activity and instills an overall sense of integration and wholeness, allowing us to align more easily with our true being. Such a beautiful way to start the week. Sipping ginger and turmeric tea with good cOMpany, chanting and creating good vibrations and filling my hOMe with blessed energy. I always feel like a tuning fork after chanting. Buzzzzzzzzzzzz...
